Walking through a winter wonderland

On the way home from the holiday bazaar, we decided to take the scenic route on the river. Yes, I said ON the river. It is quite frozen over now and there is lots going on. People are walking, skiing, ice fishing, and sled riding. There is even an ice skating rink set up near the bridge. It is so beautiful. I never thought I would enjoy winters again, like I did as a child. But, the beauty and awesomeness of it here is slowly making me like the snow once again.
