Optimism still on high

My dreams of opening a special ed department have not been totally squashed, no thanks to the unhelpful "specialist" from the U.S. Anyway, still very much have the ideas flowing and plan to dedicate a lot of time to it - starting next month. Right now, I am preparing for 4 (maybe 5) workshops at our professional development conference next weekend. I am doing my workshop on differentiation based on learning styles (auditory, visual, kinesthetic). I am nearly ready, but not quite. I will be by next weekend though! haha

Then, back to work for one week before heading off to fall break. As of now, Greece is booked. But, lots of violence going on there. :( So, trying to get my ticket switched. If not, I'll just be extra careful. I refuse to eat the money for the ticket. Please cross your fingers I can get it switched to a less turbulent area of travel. I'm thinking Moldova. It's another former soviet country (for those who may not know), and I'm very intrigued with it. We'll see.......
