Rain, rain, go away

It has been another very long week, mainly because of the weather this week. It's been raining on and off every day. Do you know what that means? It means a lot of indoor recess, or shortened outdoor recesses. And do you know what that means? More headaches for teachers. Haha

My sinuses have been tolerable with the rain, which is good. The lady who does my acupuncture is on vacation, so I'm thankful they haven't been worse. Luckily, the walks to and from work have been easy. I seem to beat the morning rains and wait it out long enough for the evening ones. All but today. I did have to walk home in the rain today. It was at the tail end of the downpour though, so I made it home relatively dry.

The kids have been all over the place, as is common with this weather. Us teachers have been cranky as well. And, the fact that next week is a two day week, then 3 days off for vacation - well, that doesn't help ease the anxious moods. We are all ready for a break. The only downside, is that when we return, our next break isn't until school is over on June 20. Ugh...so long.
