Olympians in training?

You see people run all of the time. Sometimes they run for fun. Other times, they are running to catch something, or they are simply running late. Here in Astana, you see a new kind of running. It's called "holy crap there is my bus 5 minutes early, I better haul it!" run. Yep, it happens here. See, the buses do not run faithfully on a schedule. 4:00 may be 3:52. And, if you miss that one, you'll be waiting another 30-40 minutes, depending on the bus. Today, either lots of Kazakhs were running late, or lots of buses were ahead of schedule. I saw people doing mad dashes to make it to the bus stop. And those who couldn't make the stop chased the bus down at the red light ahead. Both men and women, running as fast as possible to get on that bus. A lot of people do not have the luxury to take a taxi when they want, so they have to get on that bus. I'm not sure who wins the sprints in the Olympics (not a huge follower of running sports), but I think I saw a few people here who could give the others a "run for their money". Yep, pun intended. All you'd have to do is tell them they'd be guaranteed to never miss the bus again - IF they win. Heck, that alone is motivation here.
