Money does mean power

Although this should not be the case, it is so true. If you have the money, you have the power. Frustrating how people can make threats and then get what they want, all because they have money. Ok, so you got your way. Now what? You think you buy some respect with that money? Think again. All you have is people doing what you want and thinking you are a huge jackass.  We see it all the time. People like Lindsey Lohan getting out of jail b/c she can afford to.  NFL players getting off the hook for DUI's. Donald Trump having his own reality show, which he thinks entitles him to have an opinion on everything. And yes, it happens among us common folk too. Someone has more money or is in a position to play hardball. You are left with little-to-no options. So, they win - for now. I do not believe in a lot of things, but I do believe in Karma. The day will come when these people lose it all. Money can buy your way, but be careful whom you are paying off to pave your road.
