Oh, no. It's only August.

So, the weather has taken a turn. It was actually jacket weather on the way to school today. Astana is also a very windy place on most days, so that did not make things any better. By the afternoon walk home, it had warmed a tad, but not significantly. A co-worker said it's supposed to be 2 degrees Celsius tonight. If this is already happening in August, goodness gracious. I was well aware of the "tundra" effect here in winter, but hoped I could make it to the middle of September before really starting to worry. Maybe it's just a cold front passing through with the rain. I definitely hope so!
